Channel one program coordinating office under the ministry of finance and economic cooperation has intension to recruit one PFM reform coordination & two senior PTA express for expenditure management and control reform program (EMCP) financed by international development association (IDA) under PBS III fund.

Main Duties & responsibility of PFM reform coordinator position
report to:_ EMCP head

  • Coordinate preparing annual plan for EMCP reform project
  • Assist in preparing three years reform project rolling and design strategy to find out the effectiveness of the project
  • Monitor the implementation/execution process to make sure that the PFM and related activates of the EMEP are implemented/executed according to the plan and in an efficient manner
  • Coordinating training in collaboration with relevant institution for federal and regional levels for the FM & other staffs to enhance their capacities and enable them to do their jobs better?
  • Maintain close contact with the regional finance and economics cooperation bureaus to enhance the implementation of EMCP.
  • Facilitate capacity building exercise to MOFEO, BOFEO, zone and woresa level
  • Check regional reports for validation and consistency based on the action plan.
  • Follow-up and monitor, thought regular field visit to regions, to ensure appropriate use of funds by implementing agencies and give technical assistance to regional BOFEDCS.
  • Closely work with the physical implementers’ of the EMCP  program at federal and regional levels for the successful performance of the reform
  • Participate in PFM task force meeting and prepare, submit progress and status reports on the performance of the reform
  • Coordinating and facilitate meeting between BOFED and other sector offices regarding EMCP activities.
  • Terms of employment initially one year with possibility of extension
  • Duty station Addis abeba with extensive field visit
