Zonal CDC supported project M & E officer |
Works in collaboration with existing zonal health system, the zonal CDC supported Coordinate the zonal HIV/AIDS M&E activities Supervise mentor the data clerks and ART provider at health facilities Mentors the HMIS officers at zonal, woreda and health facilities Assists the zonal HIV/AIDS focal person and HMIS focal person in data verification Conducts data verification along with zonal performance monitoring team and other partner Ensure HMIS report timely collected verified and sent to the next level Participates in the zonal supportive supervision and zonal review meetings Responsible to follow the trends of ART data Identifies woredas and health facilities with special problems on ART data management and provides technical support Conduct data quality assurance and feedback system and follow up of data quality action plan Strengthen zonal and woreda M&E team in evidence driven target setting and planning so that HIV related activities are well represented in Woreda planning Compile monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual activity report Ensure M&E tool availability at zonal, Woreda and facility level and assist the distribution Undertake other activities as assigned by the immediate supervisor |
BSC degree in Health /M &E /health informatics/ statistics and related field from recognized college and University with 4 years and above experience in HIV/AIDS related work; MSC in health informatics /M&E or MPH with 2 years and above in HIV/AIDS related work experience. Health back ground is an asset |

Duration of contract:
- For vacancy No. 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 up to September 2016 with possible extension depend on performance.
- For Vacancy No. 6 for 11 month with possible extension depend on performance
- For vacancy No. 7 and 8 for one year with possible extension depend on performance
- Additional Benefits : For CDC funded position 31% of their salary additional benefit package
