Executive Director, Sales & Marketing

Minimum Required qualification & experience

  • BA degree or Masters Degree in Marketing, Sales Management, Business Administration, International Business, or related field with a minimum of 5 years proven experience in sales & Marketing in a highly reputable company in a dynamic industry

Job summary

  •  The Director of sales and Marketing is responsible for, and manages all aspects of the hotel’s active and aggressive sales team initiatives, and maximizes the overall revenue of the hotel to the highest degree by directing the  revenue generating activities in accordance with the sales business plan. He also participate in total hotel management as a member of CHS’s Executive Team. 


Manages the hotel’s active and aggressive sales & marketing function

  • Implements strategies to improve market penetration
  • Maximizes sales productivity by ensuring that sales staff utilize sales success techniques
  • Monitors call productivity and revenue goals for each sales person by tracking results
  • Improves call productivity by counseling sales staff on appropriate selling techniques
  • Increases sales volume and profitability by formulating and executing projects for all market areas as stated in the business plan
  • Analyses sales statistics to formulate profitability
  • Meets overall budgeted sales and profit margins by soliciting , evaluating, selling and confirming business


  • Sales and marketing activity plan to be developed and reviewed quarterly
  • Advertising to be designed in accordance with capital Brand standards
  • Media positioning to be coordinated with marketing coordinator (or appropriate) at the applicable office
  • Promotional offers to be developed for calendar special occasions

Other Functions

  • Continuously seeks to endeavor and improve the department’s efficient operation, and knowledge of own job function
  • Develops and recommends appropriate training to meet guest and internal needs
  • Encourages, develops and manages effective employee relations throughout the hotel
  • Fosters and develops effective employee relations throughout he hotel
  • Looks for ways to motive involvement and be interested in environmental and /or social issues by participating in Nature CARE hotel and departmental activities
