Job Summary

The field level LDM manager will be responsible for coordinating and managing all LDM activities; and leading the monitoring, evaluation, enhanced innovation, and learning & knowledge management activities of the field office.

Major duties and responsibilities:

• Work with the LDM and PQL team and partners to produce, assimilate, analyze and use information for different purposes including documentation and, learning.
• Assist in identification of key issues around program quality and ensure PQ systems are improved to address these issues
• Establish and maintain effective accountability system at project office
• Lead the implementation of the LDM strategy in the field office & ensure partners and their staff understand the strategy
• Design, develop and continuously update project monitoring and evaluation, and impact measurement tools and systems;
• Coordinate synergy and cross-learning among different projects and programs
• Lead and assist in organizing LDM related capacity building workshops/ trainings to staff and partners
• Coordinate the early warning information tracking of different units/projects
  
  

EDUCATION/TRAINING

Required:

• BA/BSc in social science, statistics, international development communication, monitoring & Evaluation or other related field
  
  

EXPERIENCE:

Five years relevant experience in the area of LDM and M & E systems

The salary for this position is $1008. The duty station is west and East Hararghe FOs (Chiro and Harar). The deadline for applications is 10 days from the date of advertising and this is a regular full time position.
