Job Summary

The Brewery Finance Manager is in charge of the Debre Berhan Finance Team and acts as the financial business partner to the Brewery operations Director. For this role we are looking for a seasoned finance professional with proven experience in the beverage or manufacturing industry, a strong communicator, influencer, team player and outspoken driver of financial discipline and result. The position is located at Debre Berhan.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Leading the Debre Berhan Finance team
Financial business partner to the Habesha Operations Director.
Leading and shaping the operations planning and control cycle.
Providing solicited and unsolicited advice to management regarding financial implications of proposed policy and decision making.
Establish and develop financial reports and other relevant management information for management
Leading partner in managing departmental budgets.
Development of project control for large and complex expansion and replacement investments
Lead, design and implement working capital management improvement program
Drive financial discipline within the operations department
Manage inventory accounting, stock counts and inventory controls
Perform other duties assigned to him/her

REQUIRED EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 6 years relevant work experience in financial accounting, reporting and controlling in the beverage or manufacturing industry, of which 2 year in management positions leading a team of professionals
Experience in a multinational working environment. International experience in work or study is considered a big plus.
Proven experience in managing a senior multi-stakeholder working environment
Completed university degree in business economics or financial accounting
ACCA certification (or equivalent) is considered a big plus
Excellent command of English both written and spoken
