The oromia pastoral area development commission has vacant posts to hire qualified employee for the following post for pastoral community development project (PCDP III), which is funded by World Bank, IFAD and Ethiopian Government.

1. Job title: social development & Environmental management  officer  

Education:  Bsc/BA degree in biological science environmental science, anthropology, sociology, rural development and other related fields of study

Work experience: minimum of eight years experience in social dimensions of development, environmental and natural resource management, and project monitoring with special emphasis on community development / experience in environmental and social Assessment and integrated pest management.

Skill and knowledge: knowledge of World Bank safeguard policies is an asset;

2. Job title: Assistant procurement officer

Education: BA degree/ diploma in Accounting, Economics, marketing management, supply management, or other related field of study.  

Work experience: 4/6 years for degree and diploma respectively in procurement preferably in donor funded projects.

Skill and knowledge: good ability in using computer applications / good communication and interpersonal skills / ability to work in team and independently.

3. Job title: mobile Accountant

Education: B.A degree in Accounting or related fields of study.

Work experience: 4 years of experience in the area of accounting/ financing and budgeting/Fund management activities and preferably in donor funded projects.

Skill and knowledge: good experience in manipulation Peachtree Accounting program / software and bask computer application knowledge / Ability to work in team, independently and frequently travel to hardship area. / good financial report writing ability .

4. Job title:  Woreda finance officer

Education:  B.A degree/ college diploma in Accounting/finance and accounting from recognized university/college.

Work experience:  Minimum of two years for degree and 4 years for diploma of experience in the area of accounting/financing and budgeting/fund management activities. Preferably in donor funded projects.

Skill and knowledge:  good experience in manipulation of Peachtree accounting program / software and basic computer application skills, / Ability to work in team, independently and frequently travel to hardship area at woreda Level ;
