We are looking for a Senior Electrician for Engineering department based in Ambo.If you are someone who is experienced and passionate about the job, apply now.

Brief Description of Duties:

• Ensure machineries are ready for day to day activities.

• Replace or change parts as per advice by his immediate supervisor

• Inspect regularly all production machineries to ensure long life, safe and efficient operation.

• Detects faults before they develop into break down of the equipment.

• Record each maintenance activity on the record format

• Conduct root cause analysis for break down.

• Quality of work output measured

• Problem identified and waste measured

• Checks spare parts stock and advice if there is a need

• Machine and work area cleaned after working on equipment as per instructions

• Safety regulations followed as per laid down procedure

• Crew meeting and MDT, participated in at section level

Minimum Requirements

Educational Requirement: Min: BSc degree in electrical engineering, Ideal: additional training in auto machine training especially with PLC Experience:

• 3 years Industrial experience

• Must have knowledge of specialised packaging machinery
