The Ethiopian Railways Corporation Addis Ababa Light Rail Transit Service (employer) would like to invite competitive bidders for Data center and office network equipment procurement project by means of open bidding. Bidders are welcome to submit the sealed bid-proposal documents.
Eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding document at the office of Addis Ababa Light Rail Transit Service, Kality Depot ground floor Room No 24, OCC Building. A complete bidding set of documents may be purchased by bidders upon payment of a non refundable fee of birr 200.00 (Birr Two hundred) at office hour from April 18, 216 upto May 17, 2016 (Except public holiday): From 09:00 AM – 12:00AM, and 02:00PM – 05:00PM
The bidders must registered within Ethiopia and must have experience in works of a similar nature within the last business years, and details of work under way or contractually committee and clients who may be contacted for further information on those contracts, and must have the independent legal entity qualifications with business of information communication technology. No simultaneous bidders from the parent company and subsidiaries (groups) and from several subsidiaries under the same parent company are accepted, and only one such company is allowed to submit its offer.
The bidder shall have sound bank credit and business reputation, and are not ordered to be shutdown or their assets are not received, frozen, or not declared bankrupt.
For eligibility, bidders must be registration entity and bring commercial registration certificate, taxpayer registration certificate, VAT registration certificate, business license, and tax clearance certificate
The Bid proposal must be sealed in separate commercial, technical and quotation proposal envelops and deposited in the tender box prepared for this purpose at Addis Ababa light Rail Transit Service meeting room at Kality Depot ground floor and must be accompanied by a bid security of ETB 200,000 (two hundred thousand) birr per lot as the bid bond in separate sealed envelope in CPO within commercial volume of bidding document
The Bid will be closed on May 18, 2016 at 10:15 am and opened in the presence of bidders’ or their legal representatives on May 18, 2016 at 10:30 AM at Addis Ababa Light Rail Transit Service Kality Depot Office Building ground floor meeting room.
Bid documents that are delayed or not complying with the applicable provisions are not accepted
Ethiopian Railways corporation Addis Ababa light Rail Transit Service reserves the right to cancel all or part of the bid without giving reasons thereof.
