China Electric Power Equipment and technology Co,.Ltd. (CET) is a leading international contractor. CET is working for some major electric power projects in Ethiopia. We are looking for a suitable candidate for Ethiopia – Kenya power system interconnection project.

Job Title:-Environmental and health officer

Job Description:

Prepare and monitor environment management plan/action plan for the project
Co-ordinate the environmental management plan review process; and
Ensure that the objectives and targets set within the environmental management plan are being achieved according to timescale and that relevant regulation standards are being met
Prepare and provide timely report to the employer /Employer’s representative
Work at any assignment on environmental protection, health and safety activities
Responsible for supervision and management of site Environmental protection and safety activities
Contribute to communication on environmental, health and safety matters between the project partners and any concerned party
Qualification and required skills:
BSC in Environmental Health, Environmental engineering or related science fields is preferred
At least 5 years experience on project sites
Excellent communication skill and fluency in English
Computer skills required and able to communicate through email and other pertinent media.

Salary:-Negotiable

Work place:-Soddo and Yabelo

Condition of contract: One year with possibility of extension for full project period based on performance.
