FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Job Summary

Prepare annual financial plan, disbursement request to Development partners (DPs), prepare financial statements reports, monthly bank reconciliation report, collect all bank advices and bank statement timely, ensure all program related financial & supporting document are kept safely, ensure allocation of annual budget, ensure establishment of proper controlling system, facilitate the external auditing of the program and organize & conduct training and other related activities

Qualifications & experience:

BA/MA in Accounting or financial management A minimum 10/8 years of relevant experience aspects of financial management (financial planning, implementation, monitoring & evaluation) for urban water supply and sanitation programs Preparation and review of financial analysis report for external support Agencies and demonstrated experience is an advantageous.Working with the financial policies, procedures and Guidelines of the world Bank and the Ethiopia Government.

Competencies:

Able to work with multiple people of different back grounds; strong interpersonal and communication skills, commitment to team work;Training taken related to financial management both international and local institution knowledge of Accounting soft wares.Fluency in both spoken and written English.Openness to change and ability to manage complexities ;Excellent writing, editing and analytical skills and capability of working independently;Ability to work effectively, take initiative and deliver results, even under pressure, and willingness to visit sites in remote areas.

Monthly salary:-13.000 ETB with 700 ETB transport allowance

Duration:-Two years contact with possible extension and 6 months of probation period
