The MEPI-JF program is currently looking for potential candidates for Administrative Assistant role



The successful candidate needs to have skills and experience that meet the following requirements:


Assist the program team in administrative related issues such as:

  • Write business letters and office memoranda using word processing programs
  • Providing support for the program team, including calendar management, travel arrangements, and event planning coordination
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mails
  • Follow up the stationary acquisition through procurement processes on time
  • Request stationary from store to maintain readily usable stationary stock
  • Ensure the functionality of common printers, photocopy and fax machines and report problems
  • Assisting the program and support team in events organizing; Meetings, workshops, retreats … etc. 
  • Keep and update staff leave records (annual, sick, maternity, parental, etc); liaise with supervisors for corrective actions on leave of absence documentation
  • Maintain staff time effort documentation;
  • Assist with exiting staff clearance procedures and support the processes of filling exit interviews and property handover;
  • Assist with maintenance of files;
  • Assist with provision of staff identification cards, business cards, and mobile telephone. Scratch cards (monthly), and other facilities;
  • Manage petty cash
  • Perform other relevant duties as requested


  • BA in Human Resource Management, Business Management, Business Administration or secretarial Science from a recognized institution
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in international projects; secretarial background is advantageous
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency with outlook, Microsoft office, and power point is required
  • Proficiency in English Language & communication both in writing & Orally
