Jerusalem Children and community Development Organization (JeCCDO) is an Ethiopian Resident Charity organization working for the well being of children, Women and youth. The organization is now looking for experienced professional applicants to fill the following vacant post.

Job title: Senior Business Development Officer

The Senior Business Development Officer reporting to social Enterprises Development Department Manger will be responsible for planning, implementation, organization, coordination, monitoring and evaluation as well as reporting of the social Enterprise and Business development activities of JeCCDO.
Build on the existing JeCCDO’s social Enterprise business development initiative and promote it for its sustainability so as to generate persistent income
Revise timely the existing business plan based on prevailing needs.
Moreover, he/she actively involve in developing and managing the social enterprises and generate sustained income for JeCCDO development programs and core activities as set out in the organization’s goals and program objectives.
Identify business opportunities and generate new business ideas in consultation with key stakeholders.
After identifying viable business ideas, organize a feasibility study to determine the social, economic and environmental costs and benefits of the identified business ventures.
Assist the social Enterprises Development Department Manager in planning, organizing, coordinating, directing and controlling the overall social enterprises development activities of the organization
Engage in mobilization of resources; establish Network and partnership with business actors.

Requirement: M.A. or B.A. Degree in Economics, Management, Business Administration or related fields of study

Experience: 4 years for M.A., 6 years for B.A.

Additional requirements: Computer literate and good use of business and data base software

Other: Analytical knowledge, creativity, research minded, tectfulness, influential, negotiation capacity, contextual, organizational, thinking, gender balanced, and sociable.

Place of work: JeCCDO central Office, Addis Ababa

Salary: Negotiable

Terms of employment: One year contract with possible extension based on performance
