YOM institute of economic development (YIED) is alegally registered and recognized graduate training and research institute. The institute provides short term courses and training at community, organization and higher institution levels. Now, the institute wants to employ well qualified and experienced applicant for the following position on competitive bases.

1. ICT Administrator

Education level: BSC degree in ICT, computer science & related fields

Service: 3 years & above in similar position

Work place: Addis ababa

Salary: as per the institute scale

Appointment: permanent

Key Areas of responsibility/Duties

· Provide ICT support to staff, students and visitors using the ICT facilities

· Responsible for maintenance, management and upgrades of hardware including workstations, laptops, servers, printers, switches, projects and audio systems on a day to day basis

· Responsible for updates and upgrades to all software.

· Software installation and troubleshooting

· Software testing

· Development of new technology for the institute

· Web site management

· Responsible for backups on site, including restoration of data

· Assist with deployment of hardware and cabling

· Maintenance, cleaning and disposal of IcT equipment (including projector maintenance)
