The John snow, Inc (JSI) implemented USAID-supported strengthening EthiopianUrban Health program (SEUHP) is seeking to hire highly qualified Emergency WASH Coordinator (one position) and Emergency WASH cluster Coordinator(two positions)

Emergency WASH Cluster Coordinator
1. Summery Roles and Responsibilities:
  
  In collabration with the regional SEUHP teams in Amhara and Tigray, the Emergency /Drought WASH Cluster Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination and managment of the day-to-day implemention and monitoring of the drought related emergency WASH activities in five tons/cities in Amhara and Tigray Regional States. S/he will help to forge strong partnerships with SEUHP implementing partners, emergency response taskforces (ERT), WASH platforms and other relevant partners at the regional and ntown/city levels.
  
  Qualification and Experience
  
  Minimum of first degree in enviromental health or public health with enviromental health background: At least 4 years work experiences, out of which 2 years of experience in designing, implementing and water supply, sanitation and hygiene progects :Experience with WASH facility related constructinon: Experiences in emergency situation is preferred: Domonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships with government counterarts, local organizations and other program and partners: Familiarity with design and construction processes/steps for WASH facilities: Strong coordination, facilitation and communication skills: Excellent technical in hygiene promotion and community mobilization in relation to water and sanitation activities: Knoledge and understanding of current disaster management issues in understanding of roles of different stakeholders: Strong oral and written communication skills and fluency in both Amharic and English. Knowledge of local languages is a plus.
  
  Duty Station: Kombolcha, Amhara Regional State
  
  Reporting to: Amhara Regional Manager
  
  Duration of the Contract: Eight months from March 2016 to October.
