1. Farm Manager
Major Responsiblies
- Oversee the full range of operations and day to day activities of the maize farm
- Plan, organize, coordinate lead and control the strategies and operations of the farm though available resources to achieve profitable outcome and quality work
- Administer, direct and review operation budgets and programs to meet its objectives and goals
- Monitor and evaluate operational and financial performance against targeted plan and provide reports
- Ensure employees are committed to work through sound organization, arrangements and communication
Qualification
- BSC (15 years experience) or MSC (10 experience) in agronomy and / or agricultural sciences and worked in large scale crop production, of which at least 5 years in managerial position and demonstrate track record in large scale maize production.
Duty Station: Asosa
Salary Negotiable (attractive) plus other benefits
Terms of employment: contract for one year with possibility of extension, subject to satisfactory performance
