Promotional Team lead: (Ref No. 2016/ET/CS-001)

Reporting to the BCS country  manager, the incumbent will be responsible for executing and carrying out a comprehensive promotional campaign to enhances BCS foot print in NKempt Western region achieve agreed objectives in a dynamic and increasingly competitive market environment.

Major Tasks of the position

  • Develop and maintain regular interaction with  channel pertners and keep them abreast with BCS products and solutions, to ensure optimization of the distribution structure.
  • Plan, develop and execute an effective marketing promotional campaign for BCS products through carrying out field demos, product knowledge seminars and farmer field visits in the region
  • Provide regular and timely feedback through weekly and monthly reporting to allow timely refocus of the promotional campaign
  • Achieve responsible use of BCS products through training and product steward ship
  • Provide regulatory follow up and support to BCS products
  • Liaise and participate in public-private and private –private value chain partnership

Qualifications

  • Academic qualification (university degree or equivalent) in agricultural related field
  • 4 years’ experience in sales and marketing
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English

  • Ability to gain the confidence and trust of others  through honesty, integrity and authenticity
  • Able to anticipate customer needs and provide services that are beyond customer expectations
  • Should be able to build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
