Hawassa city tender / Bid :

1. The Ethiopian Somali Regional State Health Bureau (ESRSHB) now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders of BC/GC 6 and above with renewed trade license for the year 2008, VAT registration and tax clearance certificate for the construction of OR (Operation room) block in Dolo-Ado, West-Emi, Garbo, Higloley, Gunagado and Bokh Health Centers.

2. Bidding will be conducted through the National competitive Bidding procedures contained in the public procurement proclamation of the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and is open to all bidders from Eligible source countries as defined in the bidding documents

3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Ethiopian Somali – Regional state Health Bureau (ESRSHB) and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM

4. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non refundable fee 300 ETB (Three Hundred Birr). The method of payment will be in cash.

5. Bid document shall be filled and completed in one original and two copies of finanacial and technical document and returned back in wax sealed envelopes labeled “original and copy” copy must be machine copy.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 9:00 AM on the 22nd date from the date of announcement. Late bids will be rejected.

7. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders or their representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below at.

8. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of at least 1% of bid amount in acceptable CPO valid for 90 calendar days.

9. The employer reserves the right to reject any bid and to annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any
time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to bidders
