ChildFund Ethiopia would like to invite eligible and competent consulting firm for
project baseline survey of Building Socio-Economic Resilience and Technological
Integration of Young Vulnerable Girls being implemented in partnership with Tesfa
Berhan Child & Family Development Organization in eight kebeles of Bassona
Worana woreda and Debre Berhan town, which is 147 Km away from Addis
Ababa, its office based in Keyit, North Shoa Zone in Amhara Regional State.
A complete set of the bidding document (TOR) could be collected by eligible
bidders from ChildFund Ethiopia office on the address shown below and submit
the full technical and financial proposal within the period ofOct 3, 2016 up to
Oct 12, 2016.

Requirements
1.Lead
consultant should have an extensive and demonstrated experience
in facilitating and coordinating baseline survey processes in the sphere
of development works of Non-governmental and donor (bi-lateral and
multilateral agencies); using qualitative and quantitative evaluation
methods, analytical skill and interpretation of results; hold minimum of MA/
MSc in Social Work, Sociology, Agricultural Economics, Economics, Rural
Development, or related fields.
2.Theconsultancy firm should have proven professional experience in
baseline survey of similar function (adolescent and Youth Development
program, Youth economic empowerment, Economic Strengthening, Sexual
and reproductive health) in recognized firms. In particular, the firm should
have an extensive experience on analyzing and interpreting the results of
qualitative and quantitative data as well as complimenting other data sources
like case studies and success stories.
3.The
consultancy firm team should incorporate other professionals that
hold a minimum of MA/MSc in projects, and has an extensive experience,
using qualitative and quantitative evaluation methods, analytical skill and
interpretation of results.
4.The
CVs of the consultants should be submitted with technical proposal
having their original signature. The firm also required to summarize (in table)
the qualification and technical engagement of each team member in the
assignment.
5.The
company should provide TIN, VAT/TOT, and business registrations
certificates that have all been renewed and valid license for the current fiscal
year and other authorized documents in technical proposal.
Each interested firm should submit its sealed Technical and Financial proposals
in two separate envelopes duly marking the envelopes as“Technical”and“Financial”
proposals.

October 12, 2016. Bid will be opened by procurement committee.
Qualified consultants will be considered based on their responsiveness to the
requirements listed above, technical, and financial evaluation results.
